Personal Bio& Achievements

Larry Baker, Managing Director, International Patient Program – Mr. Baker leads UC San Diego’s International Patient Program and is responsible for the department’s global strategic planning. He develops & maintains comprehensive systems, tactics, metrics, budget and resource requirements in order to manage and grow the Program. He has an extensive international sales background in technology, including experience in the Mexican market.

Thomas Kinney – Marketing Manager, International Patient Program – Mr. Kinney is the marketing manager of UC San Diego Health’s International Patient Program. His responsibilities include creating marketing materials, financial forecasting, patient volume reporting, as well as implementing outreach events to promote the UC San Diego Health brand internationally. He received his master’s degree from UC San Diego’s Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies, and has been involved in international business development for nearly two decades, primarily in the Asian and Latin American regions.
