Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Sanya was founded in 1991, the hospital moved to Phoenix Road  in 2008, covering an area of 45 acres, a total construction area of 55947.74 square meters. The hospital is located at the opposite of the Miss World beauty contest site "beautiful crown", facing Linchun River, backed by Hubao Ridge, with beautiful environment, and beautiful scenery, It is the Third Level 1st Class TCM hospital, combination of medical, teaching, research, health care, rehabilitation, traditional medicine and international exchange and cooperation.

As of December 31st , 2014, we have a faculty of 592, of whom 9 with doctoral degree, 71 with master degree  14 with high professional title, 23 with the deputy high professional title. We have one expert enjoying the title of national TCM expert, the State Council special allowance bearer. 2 experts with national outstanding talent TCM Clinical Training, one PhD supervisor of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medici, and 7 graduate supervisors.

We have a stable staff of 635, 660 beds, with 19 medical departments and 35 clinical and technician  departments, including emergency, ICU, inpatient, outpatient, women, children, the elderly, bone, skin, andrology, anorectal, acupuncture, massage, rehabilitation, treatment of disease, ear, nose throat, dentistry, ophthalmology, infectious diseases, anesthesiology, medical beauty, image, function test, blood transfusion, Dispensary and so on. We have one national key clinical specialty (Digestive Diseases Branch) two national key specialty of traditional Chinese medicine (orthopedics, treating disease centers), 3 key specialty cooperative group units of the State Administration of Traditional(acupuncture, clinical pharmacy, nursing studies), Hainan Province, a key specialties (encephalopathy).

Since 2002, the hospital carried out the pioneering rehabilitation medicine convalescent trips, boasting its prominent TCM characteristics, combined with Sanya unique natural environment and tourism resources, the establishment of Sanya Xin Xinrong TCM Health International Travel Service. As of December 2014, the hospital  has received patients from Russia, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Germany, France and other countries that amount to more than 40 groups, 10 foreign charter flight trips. We have served more than 35,000 foreign guests providing them with high-end customized health services, including Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Tajikistan Lahemonuofu, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, etc. We have successfully treated two groups of 50 children in Kyrgyzstan TCM recuperation of Russia's Beslan terrorist attacks. We were awarded “Sino-Russian Friendship trophy” by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and also we have received recognition and award from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia, thanks letter from People's Republic of China Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan Embassy.
