YinChuan CARVAR Health Center

Background

   On November 24th, 2013, Yinchuan CARVAR Heart Center was formally established. The center is a diagnosis and treatment center for heart surgical disease, which was put on the records of National Ministry of Health and authorized by Health and Family Planning Commission in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is the first domestic sino-foreign joint venture heart disease diagnosis and treatment center, depending on the public hospitals (The First People’s Hospital of Yinchuan in Ningxia). The South Korea will provide the related medical technology, the Russia will invest this project and the First People’s Hospital of Yinchuan will provide the medical equipments and place to manage the international medical cooperation model. The center will open the door of intergrating Yinchuan medical with international medical.

Facilities

  Yinchuan CARVAR Heart Center lies in the 8th floor in the First People’s Hospital of Yinchuan which covers the area of two thousand square meters. It includes thirty patient beds there. Nowadays, the center is equipped with the SIEMENS dual sauce CT, GE3.0T MRI and Cardiac ultrasound machine which belong to the PHLIPS Company. We also equipped the extracorporeal circulation machine made in Germany. Meanwhile, Yinchuan CARVAR Heart Center already finished the digital transformation. In a word, the hardware facilities level in the center can reach the top level in the world. Yinchuan CARVAR Heart Center will provide the medical service not only in Yinchuan, but also can reach the surrounding area in Ningxia province. In this way, the patients who want to do the cardiac and plastic surgeries can enjoy this world top class medical service in the local place without going aboard.

Human resources

  The center, with its existing staff of more than 30 people, includes 7 foreign (South Korea, Slovenia, Greece) professor of cardiac surgery, 4 director doctors and 3 vice director doctors in Chinese surgical team, as well as 9 translators in English, Russia and Korea.

Core technologies

  Besides its core technologies on CARVAR and COMVAR, the center can accomplish the surgical treatment in terms of valve diseases, CABG, macro vascular diseases, and other surgical treatments of all kinds of congenital heart diseases as well as minimally invasive surgeons.

  As the first international heart center established in northwestern region, it firmly holds the service idea that “Patients are our god”, based on “high-tech medical treatments, qualified medical services, and humanized medical facility”. Integrating high-end technology, responsibility and making gradual progress, it continues to follow the international top medical facility and techniques, trying to find and hire good talents in medicine nation-wide and abroad. Its purpose is to develop and spread the core techniques of CARVAR center to the whole China, to help more heart disease patients, through academic forum, technique interaction and experts’ diagnosis.

Purpose

 The center aims to actively nourish a top technique band on cardiac surgery in China, and build a localized medical team with international advanced techniques of cardiac surgeons. Thus, the patients from the west and even other parts of China can get the classic medical services without going abroad.
